既存の旧型設備と新たに導入した新型設備とをネットワークで結び、工場全体の生産ラインの稼動状況や加工実績を、ソフトウェアを使用して遠隔監視を行う。OPC UAサーバを介した通信でSCADAシステムなどの上位システムとダイレクト通信する。稼働状況/故障の監視や運転/停止を一括モニタリングすると、工場全体の設備の稼働能力が把握でき、生産計画を平準化できる。
