Before contracting out the work, the person in charge, engineers, and analysis staff gathered together for a workshop. Through the workshop, a common understanding was formed regarding the phenomena to be analyzed, the quality and quantity of data, the analysis policy, the final output, etc. Through the prospect of improved productivity and an understanding of the details of the development process, we were able to convince the adopters and resolve their doubts, and we were able to begin the AI development project. Using AI, we were able to identify the conditions that caused equipment blockages, and devised measures to prevent the recurrence of blockages and operational methods to delay their occurrence, thereby reducing the frequency of equipment blockages. This has improved productivity by reducing the frequency of equipment cleaning and reducing plant downtime due to equipment blockages.
